New album release March 20th

In March 2020 it’s time for a new chapter in the legacy of Siena Root. The band will release a 100% analogue conceptual album through MIG music with world wide distribution.

The Secret of Our Time elaborates on what is human nature in the relation to the present technological or artificial realities. For we can invent tools, as well as we can change our mindset, to overcome obstacles. Each song deals with different themes from the ecosystem where mankind plays an important role. Meanwhile the album articulates heavy critique on the quick-fix digital answers to complex existential and philosophical issues.

Just as in a rock band, we all depend on each other, as one alone is never as strong as all together. Despite the current man-made economic-, social- and ecological world crisis, mankind plays an important role in the earth’s ecosystem. It’s the fate in mankind, its organic intelligence, that is the key to solving the present economic-, social- and ecological crisis. Turning that key in the right direction is the secret of our time.
